What is recorded per visit
Timestamp
Exact UTC date and time. Used for the traffic chart, feed, and timeline filtering.
Page Path & Title
URL path (e.g. /my-post) and document title from the browser.
Referrer
The hostname that linked the visitor here, or "direct" if none.
IP Address
Used only for unique visitor counting and geolocation lookup.
Geolocation
Country, region, city, lat/lng, ISP — resolved via ip-api.com (free, cached).
Browser & User Agent
Browser family parsed from User-Agent header. Full UA stored for debugging.
⚠ No cookies. No third-party scripts on your blog. Admin paths (/ghost/*) never tracked. Bots filtered by default. All data stored locally in SQLite — nothing leaves your server except the ip-api.com geolocation call.
